These terms apply to your use of almanacstats.com (the "site") and the public API at api.almanacstats.com (the "API"), together the "service". By using the service you accept these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the service.
1. Who we are
AlmanacStats is an independent project, not a company.
AlmanacStats is operated by a private individual, Alex Semensky (the operator, "we", "us").

2. The service
AlmanacStats provides football statistics free of charge: fixtures, live scores and results, line-ups and match events, league tables, player and club profiles, transfers and market values. You do not need an account to use it, and there are no paid features.
We may change, extend, limit or discontinue the service or parts of it, such as the API, at any time. We do not guarantee that the service is available without interruption.
3. Accuracy of the data
Most of the data is collected automatically from third-party providers and public datasets (see where the data comes from). It can be incomplete, wrong or delayed; live scores in particular may lag behind the actual match. All information is provided for general information only, without any guarantee that it is accurate, complete or up to date. Please check important information with official sources.

4. API and data licence
The API at https://api.almanacstats.com is public and read-only. No API key and no sign-up are needed. You may use the API and the data shown on the site, including in your own projects, on these conditions:
- Rate: keep to about one request per second and cache what you fetch.
- Attribution: wherever you publish something based on our data, include a link to almanacstats.com.
- No resale: do not resell the raw data.
- Third-party data: much of the data comes from third parties and remains subject to their terms. This licence covers only what we are able to license; it gives you no rights in third-party data, logos or images.
We may limit or block access that overloads the service or does not respect these conditions. Technical details are in the API documentation.
5. Logos, photos and other third-party content
Club crests, competition logos, player and coach photos and other images belong to their respective owners. We show them only to identify the clubs, competitions and people that the data is about; this does not mean that their owners endorse or are connected with AlmanacStats. A few photos come from Wikimedia Commons and are used under their Creative Commons licences. Names and logos of clubs and competitions may be trademarks of their owners.
If you hold rights in content shown on the site and object to its use, write to info@almanacstats.com with a link to the page, and we will review it promptly.
The site's own texts, design and software are protected by copyright. Section 4 explains how you may use our data.
6. Bookmaker odds and probabilities
Some match pages show bookmaker odds and probability estimates, such as the "Match forecast · betting market" block. This information is for general information only. It is not betting advice, a tip or an invitation to bet, and it may be outdated or wrong. We are not a bookmaker and do not accept bets.
Betting-related information is intended for adults (18+) only. Only bet where it is legal for you, and gamble responsibly. If gambling is causing problems for you or someone close to you, contact a gambling support service in your country.
7. Acceptable use
When using the service you must not:
- break the law or infringe the rights of others;
- disrupt or overload the service, or try to get around its security measures or rate limits;
- access the site with automated tools (crawlers, scrapers, scripts) that do not respect our robots.txt and rate limits. For bulk data, please use the API (section 4) instead of scraping the pages;
- present the service or its data as your own, or suggest that we endorse you or your product.
We may block access that breaks these rules.
8. Liability
The service is provided free of charge and "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from the use of the service or from reliance on its data, including losses connected with betting or other decisions based on it.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for intent or gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.
9. Links to other websites
The service may link to other websites. We are not responsible for their content.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, for example when the service changes. The date at the top shows the current version. If you keep using the service after a change, the updated terms apply.
11. Applicable law
If you use the service as a consumer, the mandatory consumer law of your country of residence remains unaffected by these terms. If any provision of these terms is invalid, the other provisions remain in effect.
